Named for the alchemists of Paris and inspired by the legend of poisoner Madame de Brinvilliers, this composition carries a dark, seductive undercurrent. It arrives housed in a cast glycerin shell shaped by designers Barnabé Fillion and Brian Thoreen, two fitted halves cradling a glass bottle hand-shaped by artist Jochen Holz. The case itself can scent a room, its form and color shifting over time in contact with its environment.
