Andrea Maack is a gender-neutral perfume house founded in Reykjavík, Iceland, by the visual artist whose name it carries. Scent first appeared as part of her gallery installations, and a single concept fragrance later grew into a full collection that blurs the line between fine art and perfumery. Each scent is made from raw ingredients blended with organic Icelandic alcohol and water. The custom bottle, designed by Milan-based architect Maddalena Casadei and made by Bormioli Luigi in Parma, draws on the black volcanic obsidian of the Icelandic highlands.
