Maria McManus
Maria McManus was founded in 2020 in New York City by its namesake designer, who was born in Dublin, Ireland, and settled in New York after years living abroad. Alarmed by fashion's environmental toll after years inside the industry, she built a womenswear line around using less water, fewer chemicals and less waste, sourcing recycled, organic and natural fibers from Europe and Japan. The line extends the same attention to interior construction as exterior design, keeping production traceable through its fiber sourcing.
