Artbook

Artbook is the bookselling arm of D.A.P., Distributed Art Publishers, founded in 1990 in downtown New York to bring international art and photography books into an American market poorly served by mainstream publishing. Beyond distributing for museum and gallery publishers, D.A.P. also runs a small in-house publishing program and the architecture and urban planning imprint Metropolis Books. Artbook's lists span art, photography, architecture, design, fashion and film, sold through bookstores at MoMA PS1 and Hauser and Wirth Los Angeles and through museum e-commerce partnerships.
