Arquiste Parfumeur

Arquiste was founded in New York in 2011 by Carlos Huber, a Mexico City-born architect and historic preservationist trained under perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The house treats perfume as an act of restoration, researching a specific place and moment in history before rebuilding its aromatic experience in scent. Working alongside perfumers including Flores-Roux, Yann Vasnier and Calice Becker, Huber translates architecture, landscape and historical narrative into fragrance structure, approaching each composition as a reconstructed fragment of a vanished interior or landscape.
