Peter Speliopoulos is a multidisciplinary artist who makes ceramics and home objects. Already a collector of ceramics, he took up clay with the potter Ritsa Eliou on a 2011 holiday in Greece, then began formal study in 2015. Word of mouth and private sales built his first collection, which led to Peter Speliopoulos Projects. Tactility and organic form guide the work, which balances the primitive and the contemporary and extends to objects handcrafted in leather, suede and shearling. He trained at Parsons and was later Creative Director at Cerruti Arte and Donna Karan.
