Lladró

Porcelain has been the house's material since 1953, when brothers Juan, José and Vicente Lladró made their first pieces at their family home in the village of Almàssera. The workshop introduced a single-firing method that soon replaced the traditional triple firing, and it became known for virtuoso techniques such as flower modeling and complex tulle treatment. Since 1969 the house has worked from its headquarters in Tavernes Blanques, Valencia. It describes its work as a mix of talent, audacity and meticulousness, joining design and craftsmanship with care for the environment.
