Amoln takes its name from moln, the Swedish word for cloud. Jonas and Aice Bergholm founded the house in Malmö, Sweden, in 2019, drawing on clouds and traditional Scandinavian architecture for its signature monochromatic blue. Their Malmö studio oversees every step, from scent creation to design, and treats perfumery as an art form tied to memory, place and emotion. The house works with perfumers including Nejla Barbir and Vincent Ricord. Its candles draw on French candle makers whose family craft dates to 1904.
