Named for the South African flower introduced to European botanical collections in the nineteenth century, this eau de cologne from Santa Maria Novella's Firenze 1221 collection opens on a clean, petaled freesia accord, violet and centifolia rose absolute settling softly beneath it, with iris and musk extending a quiet, powdery warmth close to the skin.
