LaPointe's gown is cut from a fluid jersey that skims the body to a floor-length hem, shirred through the torso so the fabric gathers and releases with movement. The neckline drops to a deep V, framed in a band of feather trim, and the shirring draws the jersey close through the waist and hip before it falls clean to the floor.
