Description

A dress in a fil coupé, the weave in which extra floating wefts are carried across the ground and then clipped. That leaves a raised motif with soft cut ends at every edge, and a ground that stays light and semi-sheer between them. The pattern reads by density rather than by contrast, and the cut ends soften further with wear.

How to measure

Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it meets and measure the length in millimetres. Match it to the circumference column. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
