A V-neck sweater is knit in a fine, tight gauge that holds a smooth, even face and keeps its shape through wear. The silhouette is cut clean and classic, with long sleeves and a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem that define the edges. At the back, four white stitches mark Maison Margiela's signature, placed just below the neckline.

Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it meets and measure the length in millimetres. Match it to the circumference column. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
