Description

A hand-smoothed shallow depression sits atop a carved recessed base, its surface detailing drawn from ancient Roman aqueduct segments chiseled from trachyte stone. A raised lip, once used to join one aqueduct segment to the next, defines the edge and allows the piece to function as a shallow catch-all tray.

Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it meets and measure the length in millimetres. Match it to the circumference column. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
