Akua Objects was founded in 2022 in Copenhagen by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur with a vision to create glassware as poetic objects. Akua Objects embarked on a journey to redefine the essence of tableware, infusing each designed piece with a soulful narrative and an exquisite aesthetic.

The Alban Vase is the newest addition to the Alban collection that was designed before Akua Objects was founded. The collection was sketched in 2019, while Annika's first-born son, Alban, was still growing in her belly. The symbol of growing life and the remembrance of the poppy, gave life to Akua Objects' first collected drawings, which today represents a collection named after Alban.
