Hable

Susan Hable draws hand-drawn patterns in color and form from her studio in Athens, Georgia, the aesthetic signature of Hable Construction, founded in 1999 by sisters Susan and Katharine Hable and named after their Texan great-grandfather's road construction business. Katharine oversees operations from Corsicana, Texas. The studio works across textiles, furniture and fine art, producing its patterns through traditional screen-printing in a New England factory and fabricating furniture with a century-old family business in North Carolina.
