Growing up in Southern California, the daughter of a painter fell in love with art and color early on. She began making jewelry after college, learned wax carving and metalsmithing, and in 2003, inaugurated her label.  Her decidedly “un-precious” aesthetic favors raw cuts of precious and semiprecious stones in an ocean-y palette of greens and blues.
